The graphic documentation of archaeological remains has always had a fundamental role in the study and representation of both monumental and landscape contexts.
Akhet utilizes a team of professionals specialized in the techniques of topographical recording and in the compilation of the graphical archive, using the most up to date methods in the sector. A long experienceof both manual and instrumental drawing, gained in the field, allows the company to apply the most rapid and efficient solutions to the differing situations presented. Integration of the techniques of traditional drawing and new technology (exploiting photogrammetry and for example the utility of a moored balloon for aerial photographs) can offer a guarenteed higher quality and an improved exploitation of the images of archaeological sites and the landscape.
Exploiting computer technology the company is also able to produce three-dimensional images, using not only the recently acquired laser scanner but also utilizing the EDM and photographic texturising of the surfaces of objects.
Commencing from the archaeological drawing, Akhet can also produce virtual reconstructions with a scientific or an educative purpose.
