| Akhet was founded in Rome in 2002 by a group of professional archaeologists specialized in field research. From the beginning the aim of the company’s founding members was to form a team highly qualified in the carrying out of archaeological research, capable of supplying throughout the country a suitable technical and scientific support in both the private and public spheres.
The continuous development of the staff, the creation of technologically innovative and versatile solutions, the attention to detail and the constant monitoring of all activities undertaken, not only permit the speedy and efficient resolution of problems related to the safeguarding of archaeological remains, but also guarantee the highest possibile standards of quality and rapidity of intervention in all activities undertaken.
The various specific archaeological expertise of the different members of staff has allowed the creation of different specialized sectors of activity. In constant dialogue with each other, these sectors enable the company to confront any given intervention, from initial evaluation and the preliminary stages of a project, to the completion of the work itself and the elaboration of the final documentation.
Akhet is certified for the execution of public works at grade II in the category OS25; qualification issued on the 14.09.2007 by the Impresoa s.p.a.
The company project for the constitution and the development of Akhet was financed according to the L.R. 29/96 by the Region of Lazio with deliberation n. 851 of the 10-10-2002
The company is registered with the ‘Anagrafe Nazionale delle Ricerche’ of the MIUR, with the code 57178ETK
